What are the differences between microblading & nano brows?
Nano Brows, also known as “Machine Hairstrokes” or “3D Hairstrokes” is the most natural, evolved and innovative eyebrow tattoo technique for all ages and skin types.
The hyper realistic hair stroke technique I call Nano Brows is a spin off of microblading, but instead of a Microblading tool, I use a Tattoo Wand with a medical grade needle cartridge. This enters the skin in a less invasive way leading to less trauma. This doesn’t hurt, doesn’t scab, doesn’t bleed or scar. It also leaves the most airy, natural pigment in the skin that ages just as graceful.
Microblading sadly creates trauma to the skin and is an invasive way to plant the ink using scraping or cutting motions while the tattoo machine with medical grade needle for Nano Brows pokes the skin lightly without making a cut or a drop of blood.
During the healing process, Microblading is known to scab and itch while Nano Brows is known to flake with minimal to no side effects.
Longevity of Microblading and Nano Brows differ as well. Microblading has a tendency to blur and expand while the diameter of the needle used for Nano Brows is much smaller than Microblading, it blurs and expands less naturally over time. Microblading requires touch ups every year while Machine Nano Brows last 4-6 years before refreshing the hair strokes depending on lifestyle and skin type.
Even though I am trained in Microblading as well, without question, I recommend Nano Brows or Powder Brows over Microblading for everyone.
“Brynn is absolutely incredible! My eyebrows look so natural. I was nervous going into it because I’ve heard of so many bad microblading experiences but nano brows is the way to go! Brynn is so talented and professional and makes me feel right at home. I’m excited to do lip blush and eyeliner next. If you are hesitant- don’t be! Brynn is the only one I trust with my face.” -Amanda, 34 Google Review
